Fluno Executive Conference Center
Invites 25 participants to extend their understanding of major types of health behavior theories and explore how to test, improve, and utilize theories when designing interventions for behavioral risk modification. Leading instructors for the conference will include researchers Neil Weinstein, University of Arizona, Alex Rothman, University of Minnesota, Susan Curry, University of Illinois at Chicago, and Barbara Curbow, University of Florida.

We would like to announce the 2008 IPRA Global Conference, Building Sustainable Futures: Enacting Peace and Development to be hosted by the University of Leuven, Belgium from 15-19 July 2008. The overall theme of the conference focuses on the interaction between economic development, environmental change and conflict prevention and peace building efforts in the 21st century. Sustainable development cannot succeed without adequate efforts to build sustainable peace at local, national, regional and global levels.
Exploring Boundaries, Expanding Frontiers The primary aim of the conference is to advance discussions concerning community psychology. The sub-themes center on current and emerging issues and debate within community psychology and are relevant to both research and practice. Presenters are encouraged to reflect on their successes and lessons learnt from both practice and research within their specific domains.
The title of the event is Social Representations, Collective Memory and Socially Shared Emotions: Narrative and Experimental Approaches. Registrations are open at www.europhd.eu/Registration. Welcome to AYF! The Asian Youth Forum is an exciting network of Asian young people dedicated to international understanding and exchange. Each AYF event brings together college youth from countries throughout Asia for seminars and workshops designed to promote global awareness, cross-cultural understanding, social responsibility and world citizenship. The AYF aims to build a network of concerned young people who can work together - in their own countries, with other Asian youth and with young people around the globe - to build a world of peace, tolerance and cultural respect. AYF events focus on a number of themes: language and communication, culture and international understanding, social and global issues, and leadership training.
