Biography
Tiiu Poder now has her own company called BASE Atlantic in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Tiiu has accumulated over twenty five years of experience in the field of entrepreneurship, first as owner manager of a manufacturing firm in North Toronto followed by course designer and instructor of Art & Entrepreneurship at NSCAD University. She went on to spend eight years as Executive Director of the University Business Development Centre at St Francis Xavier University where she engaged in pan Atlantic and national entrepreneurship programs and activities. An innovator in her field, Tiiu is well acquainted with the Canadian entrepreneurship education community and has participated in entrepreneurship education programming in the United States.
