Okay, so there's no link to click on, but there should be - there will be. I'm at Social Tech Training in Toronto, ON, tapping into all of the energy that's permeating around collaboration, social networking and the Internet. It's explosive, multi-functional, collaborative, and progressive.

If you're hesitant about the power of Web 2.0 and internet technology, ask yourself, "How do I find information?" Chances are, you plug into Google using keywords you associate with your query. If you want to find out where someone is or what they are up do, chances are, you aren't using the white pages anymore and, if you are, you're going to canada411.com or, again, Google, and keying in someone's name and location. Take things one step further, you're logging into Facebook, Twitter, Google Reader...and plugging into a live feed what what's going on, who's doing it and how you can be part of the movement.

If you're not collaborating online, what are you doing?

At Tamarack, we're building on our web presence, shifting from our static, informative and one-way thinking to a more generative, dynamic and living experience to engage our audience, extend our reach and increase our efficacy all to engage you and inspire collective action. As Paul (our President and Co-founder) says, "One community at a time." Well, hopefully, multiple communities at a time.

We want leaders in this industry to virtually raise their hand and spread their message, engage in our space and, therefore, engage with other leaders across Canada to spark change. The outcome is the journey - a growing population of authentic voices, engage-savvy leaders, community conversations and leveraging the best practices of communities collaborating online.

We're trying new things. We're making important connections. We're in the midst of "just the beginning." What are you doing?
