Q. Why am I asked to sign in to IGLOO when I try to sign in to PolicyNet?
A. IGLOO is a
portal on global governance issues and PolicyNet
is one of IGLOO's many member communities. Everyone who is a member
of PolicyNet is also a member of IGLOO. More information about IGLOO and IGLOO
communities is available at www.insideigloo.org.
Q. How did I
become a member of PolicyNet? I don't remember joining.
A. In the past, students
at some schools were automatically given PolicyNet memberships through their
school enrolment. These schools include the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and
International Affairs, The Hertie School of Governance and Tsinghua University
School of Public Policy and Management.
Students' names and email address were loaded into the
PolicyNet membership database and the login information was sent to the
students by email.
If you are a student or an alumnus at one of the schools mentioned above,
please follow the step-by-step instructions at http://www.igloo.org/policynet/confirmy
to confirm your membership.
Q. I've forgotten my password. How do I sign in?
A. See the step-by-step instructions at the left.
Q. What is PolicyNet?
A. PolicyNet is a global network of public policy schools
founded by the Centre for International Governance Innovation and the Woodrow
Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
It brings together top policy schools from around the global in an online
collaborative community to share knowledge, conduct research, and find career
opportunities. You can find out more about PolicyNet on our About PolicyNet page.
Q. Why
should I participate in PolicyNet?
A. PolicyNet makes connecting with peers
around the world or just down the hall easy! You can collaborate, discuss and share your
work on policy issues using the communities online tools. PolicyNet also supports students in their academic work
through its "Get Paid to Blog" program and through PolicyNet Scholarships.
