Level One

If you:

  • Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a public policy school;
  • Have excellent writing skills with which to create compelling posts;
  • Have a good understanding of the blogsphere;
  • Keep up to date with current events and international affairs using online media sources;
  • Possess sufficient time and technical skills to create and manage an online blog;
  • Are committed to posting a minimum of 150 words three (3) times per week;
  • Will add links to other blogs, media articles and media to each post;
  • Can produce and add photos or videos in your posts;
  • Are able to read and comment at least once a week on other public policy blogs;
  • And have the drive to be a successful blogger

Compensation
PolicyNet Level 1 bloggers will be paid $120 USD per month for a three month agreement. Agreements can be renewed by mutual agreement.

 

 

 

Level Two

If you:

  • Are a graduate student at a public policy institution or have related experience as a journalist or public policy blogger;
  • Have developed a specialty in the particular area of public policy and have published articles or other works in relevant journals, academic publications, or media outlets;
  • Keep up to date with current events and international affairs using online media sources;
  • Are able to use your expertise to comment on current affairs in compelling posts;
  • Possess sufficient time and technical skills to create and manage an online blog;
  • Are committed to posting a minimum of 150 words three (3) times per week;
  • Will add links to other blogs, media articles and media to each post;
  • Can produce and add photos or videos in your posts;
  • Are able to read and comment at least once a week on other public policy blogs;
  • And have the drive to be a successful blogger
