2008 World Cities Summit

The Lee Yuan Yew School of Public Policy is hosting the 2008 World Cities Summit in Singapore from 23-25 June in collaboration with the Singapore Ministry of National Development and the Civil Service College. This year’s theme is “Liveable and Vibrant Cities”, focussing on urban development and environmental sustainability issues. The Summit will look at the challenges of an urbanizing landscape and policies that allow cities to succeed.

The conference will be held in collaboration with the Singapore International Water Week 2008, a leading event on policies and applications of water innovation and technologies, under the theme "Sustainable Water Solutions for Cities". Check out these two conferences and hope to see you there!
