Mariolga Reyes Cruz

Biography

Mariolga Reyes Cruz, a brown Puerto Rican woman, earned a doctoral degree in community psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (U.S.) with a minor in qualitative inquiry. She has done extensive ethnographic research on education organizing working with recent Mexican immigrants and other marginalized groups. Her main interests revolve around developing research and action projects with marginalized groups who are collectively challenging institutionalized oppression.
