What value can your organization offer a Designer, and what value can a Designer bring to your organization?
As a designer with strong moral values, I consider myself very fortunate to be designing, creating and strategizing for Tamarack, an organization committed to sparking wildfires of positive change, energy and inspiration in communities.
Over the past 3 years that I've been with Tamarack, it's interesting to reflect on my own professional transformation, specifically the way in which I [...]If your morning routine includes a coffee from a local drive through, pay for your order and ask to pay for the car behind you. What a nice way to help kick off someone's day, who will no doubt share this experience with those they encounter throughout their day.
Go to the park and descretely 'hide' some random change. Now sit back and enjoy your audience as they 'find' your scatterings...a lucky penny , maybe a lucky loonie...you've just made someone's day! Never assume that the end result is meaningless - you never know what it might mean to someone. An emergency phone call, a bus ride home, a cup of coffee, or just a plain-old-smile.
Would it make a difference if you knew that the answer to your
wicked questions already existed? Like a puzzle, it just needs to
be organized correctly in order to make sense?
