Joëlle Mourré
Biography
Joëlle Mourré has been Director Community Impact with United Way of the Fraser Valley for eight years, and is primarily responsible for the development of granting, community leadership development, and collaborative initiatives and partnerships involving and convened by United Way. Joëlle holds a degree in Media Communications, and has attained certification in numerous areas of not-for-profit management and governance, community development and leadership. She has over 13 years experience in the voluntary, and has been recognized for her leadership contributions, including the "2006 United Way Community Development Award", "10-year Longtime Service Award 2007" from United Way Canada, and "2007 Abbotsford Community Leader Award". Joelle has two adult children and a 4-year old grandsom who are the ultimate inspirations in her personal life, in creating safe and resilient community and in all her volunteer service endeavors.
