Juanita Metzger

Biography

Juanita works with the Centre for International Governance Innovation as Project Manager on the IGLOO.org network project. She works with internationally focused groups and organizations to facilitate . With a professional background and a Master of Social Work degree in Community Development, the IGLOO.org network environment provides an entirely new sense of 'community work'. Juanita completed her MSW in Guatemala where she worked with CONGCOOP, a national research organization based in Guatemala City. Before joining CIGI, Juanita worked with House of Friendship in Kitchener on local neighbourhood and community development projects. In addition, Juanita worked several years with Katimavik, Canada's national youth program. Juanita also holds an Honors BA from Renison College, University of Waterloo in Social Development Studies.
