Collaborative Governance
An Online Community for your Learning Circle

Welcome to the online community for the Collaborative Governance Learning Circle. This online community is your space to share resources and engage with each other between learning circle sessions. Use the navigation above to explore this community's forum, library and directory.

Members of collaborative initiatives often spend extraordinary amounts of time trying to sort through the “governance” of collaboration and are often frustrated with the model that emerges. This learning circle and online space explores the research findings on “good governance” in collaborations, confirms the role of governance in various types of collaborative efforts, and identifies the key principles and factors that should shape the design and assessment of a collaborative’s approach to governance.

Mark CabajAbout Mark Cabaj

Mark Cabaj is the lead coach at Tamarack and Vibrant Communities, working with foundations, all levels of government, voluntary organizations and businesses to assist them with their specific community engagement efforts. Right now, Mark is pre-occupied with two particular elements of community work: collaborative, comprehensive initiatives, and evaluation and learning. He wants to explore how organizations, like Tamarack, can make these things more effective in order to create the biggest impact possible.
