Managing for results is one of the key themes of the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. Donors and developing countries want to know that aid, including that for democracy support and assistance projects, is being used effectively and they want to be able to measure results. The aim is to be able to identify approaches that produce concrete results and sustain those that work, and learn from those that don’t.
