ACUNS.net

ACUNS.net is an online community on the IGLOO Network for the members of the Academic Council on the United Nations System. The Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS) is an international institution with a distinguished membership of nearly a thousand scholars, teachers, practitioners and others active in the work and study of the United Nations System and other international organizations. Since 2003, the ACUNS Secretariat has been located at its host institution Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Global issues require multicultural dialogs and research in order to develop methods that produce effective solutions. University-Community Partnership Social Action Research Network (UCP-SARnet) began such a dialog between Arizona State University, CREHS, Metropolitan University in Manchester, University of Brighton, University of Opole, Warsaw School of Social Psychology, and University of Napoli (Italy) in the hope of stimulating development of participatory research projects that compel concrete social action in local communities.
