CIC Membership

As a member of the Canadian International Council (CIC) you will be part of a high-level group of individuals and organizations interested in international affairs. Membership in one of the CIC branches enables you to access the activities, networks and publications of the Council. The main benefits include:

  • regular branch events covering major current topics
  • seminars and conferences offering in-depth coverage of international developments
  • publications that provide informed discussion on significant issues in Canadian Foreign Policy

Applying for membership

Individual regular membership in the CIC is open to all those with an interest in international affairs - academics, business people, civil servants, students, journalists, and others.

There are three membership categories:

 Regular Membership $75.00    Regular Membership (with International Journal)  $110.00
 Student Membership  $35.00  Student Membership (with International Journal)  $61.75
     Young Professional Membership (with International Journal)  $80.00

Note: All members receive the publication Behind the Headlines. GST included.

Student Membership is open to full-time students only.

Young Professional Member benefits:

This category of CIC membership is open to individuals up to the age of 35, who are not full-time students. Proof of age is required (copy of government-issued ID with date of birth).
