Audrey Churgin
Biography
Audrey Churgin is the Executive Director for MASC, an arts education organization that presents professional artists in all disciplines in schools. Audrey brings significant experience in art education, cultural administration and advocacy to the organization. She is also a professional visual and sound artist. Her work, whether visually or through sound, is produced in true collaboration with young children. She has exhibited and broadcast widely across North America, and is represented locally at Ottawa’s Galerie St.Laurent-Hill.In addition to dedicated work on volunteer boards, such as the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama, Cultural Human Resource Council, and the Canadian Association for Sound Ecology, Audrey has been a teacher for over two decades at the Ottawa School of Art. She also worked for many years as the National Director for CARFAC, the Canadian visual artist advocacy organization.
